“Ready for sharp turns and control” The new Hardcore Wave boards are completely re-designed shapes. With the three other lines of wave boards in collection, RRD presents again the most complete line of wave boards in the market. With this in mind we now have the freedom to bring out a real full hi -performance ”Hookipa” board that would satisfy our most demanding teamriders that normally like to use Hawaiian custom boards when riding those powerful and steep Maui waves. The Hardcore wave V4 is the final answer to those riders that do not wish to compromise on sharpness of turns and want to be making amazing turns at the right time and in the right place on the wave. A QUAD fin set up allows the boards to have looser bottom turns and very sharp precise top turns, try to imagine the looseness of a twin yet with the grip of a single fin. The RRD HC quad fins will also give you more drive and grip for planing, straight line control and jumping. FEATURES Full monoconcave rail to rail configuration from nose to mid tail, with a double concave bottom in the mid/back section of the hull. Flat and slight V shape on the tail in combination with a generous release of rocker allows a perfect exit of flow and board balance in the most critical moments of bottom or top turns. The Max width point is about 15 cms further forward with a wider nose, this has allowed us to create some great balanced proportional line in the middle/tail section of these jewels. These lines can now be narrow but never too abrupt or too straight. The outline flow and the volume distribution is a pleasure for your eyes and when you ride these sticks it will be some of the best days of all your waveriding experiences. TECHNOLOGY EXCLUSIVE Custom-made full sandwich with Biaxial Glass, which give us the best results in terms of weight/strength. We kept Epoxy/Herex 100 stringers on bottom of all sizes.
