    Freestyle Wave Ltd 2010 & 2011

    “Compact and Furious”

The new freestyle wave collection introduces new standards for the market in Freestyle Wave boards design. We decreased the range to seven volumes; we kept 75 and 120 the same as last year, and then developed and introduced 5 brand new shapes allowing us to cover the same wind range of last years but with less models.
    The best just got better!

    Features:
We introduced a new hull design with a full V, without any deep concaves and just minor concaves in the middle just to make sure the V is a really flat V when the board comes out of the mould. We introduced a new rocker line, a little bit higher in the front and straighter in the middle point between the front foot and the back foot strap. This allows the boards to feel more like wave boards and perform like real freestyle boards in terms of pop and making moves easier. The feeling as soon as you touch the board is like having a really small and compact wave board whilst having the planing capacity increased compared to last year. Outlines are completely new with narrower tails and noses in order to allow you to carve tighter and give you more cross over into waveriding. We redesigned a proper volume distribution with the latest design trends in mind. Lastly, we reduced fin sizes quite significantly: 1 cm on all the sizes, except the smallest size.

A shorter and more compact feel for 2010 to guarantee more top end performance.

Faster, looser and more pop for bigger jumps and a more exciting feel!

    Technology:
Custom made full Herex 100 sandwich top and bottom with Biaxial Glass for the deck and Glass for the bottom custom made lamination. Herex 100 Ω (omega) bottom stringers for 91 and smaller sizes.

I use the FSW 111 and 96 in my quiver for coaching and all-round sailing. The 111 is a great bump n jump board for bigger riders and is just so smooth, whilst it gybes like a smaller board through its narrower tail. I also use it for light wind wavesailing and make it available to my customers on trips - who love it.
The FSW 96 is my blaster that I use in 5.8 to 4.7 jumping conditions or when it is onshore and not much riding is going on (I use the quads for wave riding). This also comes with me on alot of clinics and is highly popular.

The 2010/11 FSWs are a more fun, fast and looser beast than their previous incarnations - RRD Fsw the best continues to get better!
