Ezzy Sails
History
Back in 1983, David Ezzy made his first windsurfing sail under the Ezzy Sail black and white eagle logo. He started his custom sail business on Maui in an old shed that has since become a sleek design loft. Back then, custom sails were the means to success for every serious sailor and Ezzy Sails led the sailing revolution. Ezzy made sails that were renowned for their "Hookipa" traits: strength and power........and even now in 2009, each Ezzy sail is hand crafted and then rigged to ensure the quality control that Ezzy expects. David Ezzy continues to be the sole sail designer at Ezzy sails and is committed to ethical and environmental considerations in his production process. He tests his own sails on the water every day that the wind blows........and travel to any hardcore windsurfing spot in the world and you'll find many of the locals using Ezzy, simple.
