    RRD Sails for Superfreestyle Joy

    21st May 2010 @ 03:20:29 PM

sSs Team Rider, Ian Roberts spends much of his time on the water. Unfortunately, much of that time he's driving a RIB and coaching GBR's next generation of windsurfers so even though it may be sub zero on the wind chill scale he's out practicing his freestyle at every opportunity. Ian has been using RRD sails for some time now and this is what he has to say about the RRD Superstyle 4.9

    ''What a sail!

A recent move East from Manchester has given me little time to try out my new RRD sails. However, a freezing cold May Bank Holiday gave me the chance to try the sail on a classic British inland lake. North Lincs Sailing Club may not get the cleanest wind, particularly on a Northerly, however the sail performed brilliantly in the challenging conditions.

It’s easy to rig, and sets really well on my Ezzy RDM 400 mast. In terms of aesthetics, the sail looks absolutely awesome, and sets you apart from the crowd straight away. In freestyle moves, the power comes on smoothly and the sail is a joy to ride, particularly when combined with the RRD Twin Tip 100.''
