National Windsurfing Festival: sSs score 3rd youth racer in national fleet

    10th Sep 2009 @ 11:54:35 AM

sSs Team Rider, Connor bainbridge, competed at the National Windsurfing Festival event last weekend in the National Fleet and was rewarded with a 3rd Youth podium position having competed in only 5 of the 7 races.

Connor was racing on the revelationary RRD X-Fire 112 and powered by an Ezzy 7.5m Freeride sail against some of the best UK sailors using much bigger dedicated race sails in the 12 - 15 knots at the event. The Ezzy Freerides are very easy to sail, and as this result proves, they can deliver the power you need to enjoy planing time on the water even in marginal conditions.

Connor, who is 15, also got through the qualifiers for the Night Windsurfing event and narrowly missed out on a place in the finals. He wasn't too disappointed as it was awesome watching the fun from the beach as the final was held with some very stiff competition between the Pro sailors.

Connor is also a Team Rider for Juice Boardsports.
